32 weeks

Phew! 32weeks! I am counting days everyday. I did for an entire week of bed rest. It is tougher than I expected. I've never spent this much time on the bed or couch in my life. What's hard? I can only be laying down 45 degree angle to horizontal. Mainly upper body backaches. Not being able to sleep at night because I do nothing all day and I am not tired. I try to spend most of the time reading, watching TV or DVR or movies.
I still pee a lot so I have to get up and go bathroom so many times a day. I am not sure how this constant getting up is doing to my cervix. I am hoping it is not too much added pressure to it.

Highlight of last couple of weeks:
1. Babies' movement is sharp! It feels as if I can feel their tiny legs and arms when they life them or scrape them in the uterus wall!

2. Babies' daily routine can be felt. When they are hungry (and when I feel hungry), they start wiggling in a big movement a lot!  Then I eat. They move as if they are tasting what's coming down through the cord. In less than an hour, they pass out!

I had an OB app for heartbeat monitoring check. The Dr said babies are doing good! I will go back in 6 days to do u/s for babies' growth and another HB monitoring app. Depending on the result, Dr will start see me twice a week or still once a week. They want me to keep babies at least 3 more weeks!!  OK I will try!!

Out of my boredom, I took my boys' pictures

31 weeks

I made it 31 weeks!!!!! At the very beginning of this pregnancy, I wasn't even sure if I would be still mobile at my baby shower 27wweeks. But I'm still here!! Babies are currently being cooked in tummy at my body temperature hopefully a few more weeks. But this is my update about that from OB visit today.

30w6d
My cervix has started to thin out. I have stopped working 2 weeks ago to take it easy at home but now Dr says I should really be doing strict bed rest, which is that I can only be up (vertical) when eating, showering or going to bathroom. I am not on hospital bed rest so I still have a bit of liberty of being comfortable at home.

Babies HB monitoring went well.
Babies U/S shows Baby A still have tiny tummy and slow growth compared to the week I'm in. Baby B seems to be doing perfect.

*Weight gain -- 25 lb total. 1 lb gain since 2 weeks ago. Total weight 125lb

*Baby Size --- Baby A: 3lb 1oz   Baby B:3lb (they both gained 1/2 lb in 2 weeks!. I saw Baby B's cheekie. That was cute!

*Eating habit --Eating anything and everything. But my taste buds has changed. Things I thought it was tasty no longer it is. Weird. I can only do shallow burp since the stomach is pushed up so high. I still like lots of sweets. It has good aftertaste in my mouth. Still eating frozen yogurt every night.

*Pregnancy Symptoms --- My hands are swollen, especially finger joints. It hurts to bend fingers Also right wrist. Dr said it is pregnancy related carpal tunnel, mild one, since I can still have fairly strong grips. My feet swell but in a mild way. I still have ankles :-)

*Exercise --no more walking with dogs or anything else.

*Work --no! Bed rest at home till babies are ready to come out.

28 weeks

*Weight gain -- 24lb total. 5lb since last month

*Baby Size --- Baby A: 2lb 10 oz   Baby B: 2lb 8oz (they both gain a whole pound!) and both babies have hair now!

*Eating habit --It seems I can eat less amount at a time. Digestion has slowed down and I burp a lot. I still can not do raw onions, so if I eat salsa, it has to be without onion. I like cold water lately. I still like frozen yogurt, but I switched from starbucks brand to Ben & Jerry Greek frozen yogurt :-)

*Pregnancy Symptoms --- a tiny bit nausea after every meal, my hands are swollen, especially finger joints.  It hurts to bend fingers. So I curl my fingers when I go to bed, so it is not so painful in the morning. My feet swell but in a mild way. I still have ankles :-)

*Exercise --no more walking with dogs or anything else.

*Work -- I will stop working as of 5/7 and will be doing couch potato

I visited OB on 5/2, I was 28w6d. After the u/s, Dr saw a little concern that Baby A's tummy's growth rate is slower since last month. In another words, her tummy is small compared to where she should be at this stage. He said sometimes baby can't get enough nutrition if the placenta is not working properly. So Dr decided to do HB monitoring every week from now on to make sure the baby's well-being. As long as she has a good HB, the baby is healthy. So I went back to OB in the afternoon for the monitoring. Dr said the both babies are doing good so far. I was so relieved to hear that. Also I will start seeing Dr and do u/s every 2 weeks, since I am in the 3rd trimester with twins.

Oh I passed the Glucose test from the last month!
